Overview

This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of budgetary duties and analyses, assisting in the development of our team. Under the supervision of a manager, the intern will be assigned responsibilities to work on projects and programs necessary to achieve or exceed long and short-term financial goals.

 

Student must be enrolled full time, pursuing a bachelor's degree. This position will be hybrid in Louisville, Kentucky part-time (~ 20-30 hours/week) during spring and fall semesters and either part-time or full-time (40 hours/week) during summers. The Company will be flexible in the part-time work schedule (8am-5pm - Monday-Friday) based on the student's class schedule.

Qualifications

  • Completed sophomore or junior year of undergraduate studies with declared major in accounting, finance, or related degree.
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and proficient with the use of Excel
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent examples of attention to detail as well as organization and analytical skills.
  • Above average interpersonal written/oral communication skills required.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the preparation of monthly reporting for supported businesses.
  • Assists with monthly accounting journal entries.
  • Generates reports and provides analysis within Excel.
  • Assist with expense reports
  • Manage multiple tasks while accurately maintaining record of work accomplishments.
  • Performs other duties as directed and assigned by Supervisor/Manager/team.
