Department-Specific Overview
As a co-op in Transmission Strategy & Planning, you’ll work with Siemens PSS®E and PSS®D software to perform dynamic and stability simulations of electrical faults on the transmission system. You’ll compare simulation results against system criteria, assist with reviewing Python code used in modeling, and analyze model data within PSS®E cases. Additional responsibilities may include editing dynamic data in simulation databases and drafting technical reports to summarize findings. This role offers a unique blend of power system analysis, programming, and strategic planning.
